Punch up Your Holidays with Holiday Punch

Festive holiday punch from Batch 22!

If you’re planning to host or entertain a group this holiday season, you might want to have an easy non-beer/non-wine option available as well. Well, we think there’s no better option for serving cocktails to a large group than the holiday punch bowl. Mix up a big batch, set it out, and let your guests enjoy it as they wish. Punches are great for a number of reasons, not least of which is the fact that they can be mostly assembled ahead, they are accessible to people of all tastes, and they really embody the festive and communal spirits of the holidays.

Here are six great punch recipes we developed exclusively for group entertaining, each made greater by the inclusion of Batch 22 as a base spirit. We’ll leave the garnishing and decorating of the punch bowl to you, but you might want to think about freezing some fun ingredients into ice cubes or a large ice mold (bundt pans work well) and/or floating some interesting garnishes in the holiday punch itself. You can use different garnishes for different occasions, and you can even adapt some of your ingredients to fit the season, holiday, or special event you are celebrating.

Kickoff Punch (about 12-15 servings)

Garland Punch (about 20 servings)

  • 1 bottle prosecco
  • 6 cups cranberry juice
  • 1/2 cup triple sec or orange liqueur
