We are good friends with fellow San Diegans who launched their own spirit brand—Fierce & Kind—around the same time as we launched Batch 22. We are big fans of their straight bourbon, and we are constantly innovating to create cocktails that marry their bourbon with our spirit. We think this one does the trick.
Combine in shaker with ice:
1.5 oz. Batch 22
.75 oz. Fierce & Kind bourbon
.5 oz. Aperol
.5 oz. Sweet vermouth
.5 oz. Lime
Shake and strain into a rocks glass and garnish with orange peel.
